WOMAN JUMPS OUT OF MOVING CAR WHEN SHE SEES A SPIDER

A Syracuse, Indiana, woman jumped from her moving car after discovering a spider on her shoulder, leading to a crash that injured her 9-year-old son. Angela Kipp, 35, had been backing the car out of her driveway Friday afternoon when she saw the spider and leaped out while the car was still in reverse. Her son, who was riding in the backseat, climbed into the driver’s seat and tried to step on the brake but instead hit the gas pedal, sending the vehicle into a passing school bus. The boy was taken to a hospital with minor head injuries. No children were on the bus, and its driver wasn’t injured.
* Then the school bus broke through an airport security fence and rammed a 747.
* Then the 747 crashed onto an aircraft carrier.
* It’s like the tale of the horseshoe nail where the kingdom is lost. Only with a spider and a car.
* Well, it’s nice that the boy learned early where his mother’s priorities are.
* “Sorry, Jimmy – you’re on your own!”
* The stupid part? Jumping out of a moving car with your kid inside STILL doesn’t get the spider off your shoulder.
* They have eight legs with barbs on the end. They can walk upside down. They can hold onto your shoulder.
* Have you seen NONE of the Spider-Man movies?
* The 9-year-old stepped on the gas? Gee, I wonder where he gets his tendency to overreact?
* I guess if fear of spiders wasn’t serious, they wouldn’t have a word like “arachnophobia.”
