GUYS CAUGHT STEALING EMPTY BEER KEGS
Riverdale, New Jersey, police caught three men trying to steal beer kegs from a Route 23 restaurant. An officer spotted a Nissan Altima parked behind the Blu Alehouse. Upon approaching the car, he found the men loading kegs into the car. They told the officer they were taking the beer to a party. What they didn’t notice was that the kegs were empty. The empty kegs are valued at $100 each. The three were charged with theft.
* They must have thought it was … light beer.
* The kegs were empty, like their heads.
* They told the officer they were taking the beer to a party? Was that supposed to help?
* “Seriously, officer, it’s for a good cause!”
* There’s money in empty beer kegs. That’s one of the main things I learned at college.
* There were times when half my dorm’s life savings were tied up in empty beer kegs.
* “What they didn’t notice was the kegs were empty”? No, they were stealing them to return somewhere else. Hello?
* One thing you will know when you pick up a keg is how full it is.
* That’s another thing I learned in college.
