COBRA ON THE LOOSE IN ORLANDO
Wildlife officials in Orlando, Florida, say they’re searching for an 8-foot-long king cobra snake that escaped from a home. Officials say the non-native, venomous snake is green and yellow. The snake’s owner has the proper permit to keep it as a pet and officials say the owner is an experienced snake handler.
* He may be an experienced handler, but he’s not an experienced holder-on-to-er.
* He has the proper permit, he just doesn’t have the proper cage.
* Don’t worry. One of Florida’s Burmese Pythons will probably attack it.
* If you find the cobra, consult your local snake charmer immediately.
* Florida is just one long fun-ride with the wildlife, isn’t it?
* You can get bit by a shark, a croc, or a snake. And with this cobra out there loose, you can pick your poison.
* Maybe the problem isn’t that it got away. Maybe the problem is that you can own an 8-foot king cobra in Orlando in the first place.
* What’s the point of a pet you can’t actually pet?
