MEN BURST INTO MOVIE THEATER WITH A LEAF BLOWER

Three suspects used a leaf blower to scare theater patrons at a Newport Beach, California, movie theater. Moviegoers were attending a Saturday night showing of “The Gift” when, around 10:50 p.m. two or three men entered the theater through a secured emergency door with a loud, handheld machine. One of the suspects then entered the theater, held the leaf blower over his head and yelled, shaking the blower and revving its engine. Moviegoers thought the leaf blower was a chainsaw and scrambled to get out of the theater. Three people received minor injuries after being trampled in the frenzy. The suspects remain at large.

* Maybe the guys wanted to emphasize how much “Fantastic Four” blows.
* Maybe the audience ran not because they were scared, but because they were reminded that their lawns needed mowing.
* Remember: when you go to the movies, be considerate. Please put your leaf blower in airplane mode.
* Man, I’ve gotten off some lame comedy in my time, but nothing this bad.
* And the weird thing is it didn’t even happen in Florida.
