MAN BURNS EX-GIRLFRIEND'S TEDDY BEAR

A 25-year-old Memphis, Tennessee, man is accused of starting a fire at his ex-girlfriend’s home by dousing a teddy bear with lighter fluid and threatening the woman’s family. Police say that Marshay Frenard and his girlfriend had just broken up when Frenard grabbed the teddy bear, covered it with accelerant and burned it in the fireplace. The woman woke her sons and got them out of the home. She said that as Frenard left her house, he threatened to burn down her home and set her clothes on fire.

* And, yes, as you suspected, police say milk and cookies were involved.
* It sounds like he’s still carrying a torch for her.
* Well, I sort of see why she would break up with him.
* Wow, that movie “Ted” could have gone in a whole different direction.
* You know the sad part? This story is still better than the “Ted” sequel.
* This is one of those stories where you’re adding up new charges with every sentence.
