WHITE HOUSE TO ALLOW PICTURES & SOCIAL MEDIA

For the first time in 40 years, visitors to the White House can take pictures and use social media during public tours. First Lady Michelle Obama made the announcement in an Instagram video showing her tearing the “no photos or social media allowed” sign in half. Now, you can take selfies and post them to twitter or other outlets. Video cameras, including any action camcorders, cameras with detachable lenses, tablets, tripods, monopods, and camera sticks are still banned. Also – no selfie sticks.
* Well, it took six years of Hope, but we finally got some Change.
* Shhh! Don’t tell them they forgot to ban drones with cameras.
* It figures. You can’t stop progress and you can’t stop social media either.
* Michelle tore the sign in half or the same thing kids do with her school lunch menus.
* I like how it says, “For the first time in 40 years …” like social media was around that long ago.
* Maybe if you count pen pals.
* No selfie sticks? Aren’t selfie sticks protected by the Constitution?
* Selfies are allowed? This means Kim will finally be able to visit the White House.
