DRUNK MAN DRIVES TO POLICE STATION, ASKS TO BE ARRESTED FOR DUI

A man drove under the influence of alcohol to a small-town Kentucky police station, where he requested that officers arrest him. Tuesday night, Christopher L. Stewart, 26, drove to the station in Hopkinsville, near the Tennessee border, and slammed on his brakes, nearly hitting a police cruiser. Stewart approached officers and said he was ready to go to jail for DUI. The told police he drank a pint before driving to the station. Police say Stewart also attempted to drink a closed bottle of fuel injector cleaning fluid, but officers stopped him. He was charged with driving under the influence.
* And, with imitating Otis from the Andy Griffith Show.
* He tried to drink a bottle of fuel injector cleaning fluid? What a moron. You’re supposed to chill it first.
* There’s got to be a country song in here somewhere.
* Actually, it sounds like something Randy Travis would do.
* Didn’t he show up drunk at the convenience store but he couldn’t buy cigarettes ’cause he was naked?
* Then there’s old George Jones. He got a DUI driving a lawnmower.
* At least this guy here hadn’t crossed that final barrier. You know the one where they say, “I’m really wasted. I better take my clothes off now.”
