MAN RUNS HIS TRUCK OVER BALD EAGLES

Alaska State Troopers say a 28-year-old man from Oregon ran over several bald eagles feeding on a roadway in Dutch Harbor last Sunday, killing two and injuring two others. A jogger witnessed the Ford truck hitting the eagles near the city landfill and reported it to police. Troopers cited Dennis Thompson for using a motorized vehicle to harass or molest game and accused him of “accelerating a Ford truck” through the eating eagles.
* Just for starters, it wasn’t very patriotic.
* The only time it’s cool to hit an eagle is in golf.
* I feel bad that they keep dragging Ford into this story.
* Like an All-American Dodge truck would have swerved out of the way.
* Oregon hasn’t been this embarrassed since the man pissed in Portland’s drinking water.
* Sometimes I think no matter what happens to us on the way to extinction, we deserved every bit of it.
* Just the fact that eagles are eating our garbage is sad enough.
