STARBUCKS' NEW FRAPPUCINOS HAVE RIDICULOUS SUGAR CONTENT
Starbucks has introduced some snappy new flavored frappucinos. What they’re not advertising is the sugar content:
– Cinnamon Roll flavored: 102 grams of sugar
– Caramel Cocoa Cluster: 97 grams
– Red Velvet Cake Creme: 87 grams
– Cotton Candy Creme: 83 grams
– Cupcake Creme: 79 grams
– Lemon Bar Creme: 71 grams
The Cinnamon Roll frappucino, with its 102 grams of sugar, is roughly the equivalent of drinking an entire one-liter bottle of Coca-Cola, or eating about thirty sugar cubes all at once. It’s four times the recommended daily allowance of sugar for a human being.
* Gee, thanks, Captain Buzzkill.
* It sounds like it would be simpler to just eat a bowl of coffee-flavored sugar.
* Hey, if you’re worried about the sugar, ask for no whipped cream on top.
* That’s what I do.
* The new Starbucks drinks come in Grande, Venti, and Diabetes.
* Try to have a mattress handy for when the sugar crash hits.
* How can it have more sugar than the cotton candy one? All cotton candy is is sugar.
* If you really don’t care about your health, order a Cinnamon Roll Frappucino with a Cinnamon Roll on the side.
