COP CLAIMING DISABILITY BUSTED BY ICE-BUCKET CHALLENGE
A California police officer faces insurance fraud charges thanks to a video that shows her participating in an ice-bucket challenge despite claiming she had a back injury. Los Angeles County prosecutors say a video posted online in July showed Pasadena police officer Jaime Robison pick up a 5-gallon bucket of ice water and pour it over a fellow officer while she was receiving disability benefits. They say the 39-year-old Robison exaggerated injuries in 2012 to receive disability pay. If convicted, she could face up to six years and four months in jail.

* A 5-gallon bucket of ice water, so about the size of a 7-11 Giant Slurpee.
* Way to get right on the ice bucket craze while it was hot.
* Okay, it wasn’t hot but it was trendy.
* I see now it happened last July. Hmm, they sound a little backlogged there in L.A.
* And I sound a little backlogged here this morning.
* Ahh, who cares? I’m going to throw cold water on this whole story.
