WOMAN FINDS 51 PEARLS IN HER FRIED OYSTERS

Toni Elliott was finishing her plate of fried oysters at Puckett’s Boat House in Franklin, Tennessee, when she found dozens of pearls in her last bite. The final tally was 51 tiny pearls, which all came from the same oyster. Finding one pearl isn’t that uncommon; however, finding that many is very rare. Elliott doesn’t know how much the pearls are worth, if anything, but she plans to keep them as a souvenir.
* What a coincidence: Her boyfriend was planning to give her a pearl necklace later that evening.
* Wait, he paid good money to buy her that jewelry. What are you perverts thinking?
* “Come to Puckett’s Boat House, where we never clean the food before we cook it.”
* If they eat in the Boat House, where do they keep the boats? In the dining room?
* Later during dessert, she found an ankle bracelet in her cheesecake.
* Pearls are made when a grain of sand irritates the oyster so that one oyster had a very irritating life.
* Sure, that’s where I always think of when I think of seafood: Tennessee.
* PHONE TOPIC: Odd things you’ve found in your food.
