KIDS INVENT ICE CREAM FLAVORS

Portland, Oregon ice cream shop Salt & Straw has asked kids from local elementary schools to create new flavors of ice cream. The kids came through. Throughout the month of April, Salt & Straw is serving flavors that only children would dream up. 15% of the proceeds from sales of the ice cream back to the schools that created them:
– Gummy Wummy Surprise Sorbet (featuring mango and tangerine sorbet with red gummy worms)
– Stop, Guac & Roll (with avocados, vanilla, cinnamon and fried tortillas)
– Honey Bear (made with vanilla custard, chocolate honeycomb and edible glitter).
– Cow Pattie (chocolate ice cream, Peppermint patties and dark chocolate chunks)
– Trail Mix (peanut butter ice cream, chocolate chips, pretzel, M&M’s and almonds)
– Circus Fun (vanilla ice cream, crushed pink frosted animal crackers and rainbow sprinkles)
* These are from kids? Where are the boogers? Where are the burps?
* No one came up with Skittles and Paste?
* When I think ice cream, I always think salt and straw. I mean, what the hell?
* Avocados in ice cream? There’s always a rebel in every class.
* The schools are going to get 15% of the profits? Great, maybe they can buy a textbook or something.
* Just don’t tell Michelle Obama or you’ll get the lecture about juvenile diabetes.
