DAD GIVES SON LOTTO TICKET IN GET WELL CARD
Joseph Amorese, 46, of Easton, Pennsylvania was recovering from hernia surgery last month when he received a get-well card from his father. Inside the card was a scratch-off New York lottery ticket. It turned out to be a winner worth $7 million. Amorese said, “All the pain I felt, I did not feel for at least a couple of days. Amorese said his dad often gives lottery tickets as gifts. But none were big winners until now. “My life, I don’t expect it to change a whole lot. I’m still going to go to work every day. My wife’s gonna go to work and we’re going to invest the money and enjoy life.” The two have only been married for 10 months.
* Boy, he hit the jackpot, and so did she.
* You know all that “World’s Best Dad” mug you have? Throw it out. There can be only one now.
* Can’t you spring for a couple of bucks for your poor father, you schmuck?
* So he had hernia surgery and then he won 7 million. See? Life does even out.
* Now he’s going to need hip surgery from carrying his wallet around.
* If he thinks his life isn’t going to change a whole lot, he must still be on the pain meds.
