MAN SHOOT SELF, SCREAMS, NEIGHBORS THINK, “MEH, IT’S NORMAL” – June 17

A Florida man handling his gun accidentally shot himself in the Redlands (* and that can hurt!), an area south of Miami. People living around him heard it happen, but didn’t react. One neighbor told a local news reporter, “We have always heard noises coming from the house. I’d hear screaming, but I figured it was normal for them.” The man was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
* Imagine living in a house where it always sounds like somebody’s been shot. It must sound like our sales offices.
* Gunshots and screaming at 2 in the morning are not enough to grab a neighbor’s attention. That’s just the boy who cried wolf, Florida-style.
* “Oh, brother – the people next door are watching a John Wick movie again!”
* Gunshots and screaming is how we kick off a family picnic at my house.
* This is nature’s way of getting people out of the gene pool who handle guns with one in the chamber.
