TODDLER CRAWLS INTO WOLF PEN – Apr 6
An 18-month-old slipped under the wolf pen fence at ZooAmerica, part of the Hershey Park amusement park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She crawled under the outer fence and went up to the wolf habitat’s main barrier and put her hand through the metal fencing, where a wolf, as zoo officials put it, “instinctively latched on.” Bystanders stepped in and helped pull the child away, and authorities say the toddler suffered only minor injuries. Her parents were seated 25 to 30 feet from the toddler and appeared to be focused on their phones until they heard the commotion. They were both charged with one count of child endangerment.

* Maybe it’s time to switch to a moat.
* The Hershey Park amusement park, sometimes missing the amusement.
