INMATE ASKS JUDGE FOR MORE PRISON TIME – Apr 3

A 27-year-old Ohio inmate, charged with felony assault charges, asked a judge to lock him up longer. Kenneth Newton stunned the judge in his case by asking for an 18-month sentence instead of the 12 months outlined in a plea deal. Mahoning County Judge Scott Krichbaum said, “This isn’t like an April Fools’ joke or anything like that?” Mr. Newton told the court he wanted the extra months so he could participate in additional vocational and counseling programs in prison. The judge granted the request.
* Although the judge denied his request for seconds on prison food.
* This is the kind of guy who begs to come to gender reveal parties.
* Some people just like the routine, you know?
* Or there’s a “girlfriend from hell” back at the apartment. Don’t tell me you weren’t thinking it.
