MAN ATTEMPTS TO BRING DEAD WIFE ONTO PLANE – Jan 14

Somebody tried to bring a dead body onto an airplane. A British family wheeled grandma’s corpse onto an EasyJet flight from Spain to the UK, telling airline staff she was just unwell. But before take off, cabin crew discovered the woman had passed away. The incident happened in the Canary Islands, off the coast of Africa. An 80-year-old man was stopped at Tenerife Sur airport when staff realized his wife, who was in a wheelchair, was not responsive. As he wheeled her through security, they found her body temperature was too low. When security staff tried to help the man’s wife, they realized she was not breathing. The husband admitted she had died several hours earlier.
* The problem, of course, it that there just isn’t enough room up in the overhead compartment.
* “No, sir, you can’t strap her to the outside of the plane.”
* He was really looking forward to finally having a vacation where she wouldn’t be nagging him.
* I would sit next to a corpse on a plane if it meant they wouldn’t try to strike up a conversation with me.
