PUT A WATERMELON ON YOUR VACUUM
Since there’s not much else going on in the world, the media has now discovered a TikTok video about putting a watermelon on your vacuum. It’s not rocket science to figure out that adding weight to the top of your vacuum applies pressure that makes the suction more effective and ensures the vacuum is closer to your carpet. While you can use actual weights or other products – a bag of pet food or cat little – the new focus is on putting a watermelon on your vacuum. How you get it to stay on there is your problem. Said one reviewer who tried it: “It absolutely vacuumed my carpets better with a deeper clean and more suction, and I even noticed its effectiveness in the carpet afterwards and in the amount of dust and dirt I gathered.” But, she added, the watermelon rolled off every time she moved the vacuum.
* What a dummy. Go buy a square watermelon!
* And what are we supposed to use in, like, January?
* It’s the same principle as duct taping your cats to the vacuum. Or does no one else do that?
* Now we’re going to have TikTokkers putting red cabbage on their hand mixers or bananas on their leaf blowers.
* Sorry – explain to me again how this is helping China to steal all our data?
