MOST PEOPLE ARE AFRAID THEY’LL SCREW UP THE TURKEY
One of the most frequent questions to Butterball’s Turkey Talk-Line is “How do I know my turkey is done?” According to a new survey from Butterball, a large number of American cooks aren’t all that confident in their turkey-roasting skills.
– 80 percent of millennials claimed to be nervous that they might over- or under-cook the turkey.
– 43 percent of experienced cooks claimed they also might screw up the turkey.
* Now THAT’S money well-spent on a valuable survey.
* Thanks, this doesn’t make us more nervous at all.
* 22 percent are concerned they might smash the turkey on an annoying relative’s head.
* If only turkeys were available all year long, so you could practice a couple times before November.
* Hello? It’s called Stouffer’s Frozen Roast Turkey. After a couple bottles of wine, it tastes pretty darn good.
* What are millennials doing cooking turkey? They should be over at grandma’s house for Thanksgiving.
* On the upside, if you ruin the meal, maybe the relatives will leave earlier.
