THE MOST & LEAST TICKETED CARS

Website Insurance.com did a study to find out which cars were ticket magnets. You would think they would all be sports cars, but only two fall into that category – the Nissan 350Z and the Subaru Impreza WRX. The results are based on recent model years that gather the most and least moving violations based on the responses of 323,349 motorists’ online quote information collected between January 1, 2014 and February 1, 2016. Penny Gusner, consumer analyst for Insurance.com, notes that, “It’s the driver that gets tickets, not the car. But it is interesting to see what vehicle makes and models attract drivers who are prone to traffic violations.”

* Yet another reason to take the bus.
* Hey – who gets the ticket with the new driverless cars? Do they send it right to the auto manufacturer?
* “Sir, do you know how fast you were going?” “Sorry, officer, but I’m the passenger.”
* Of course the numbers change if the driver is cute.
* That’s when you get your verbal warnings.
* Don’t look at me for an expensive car. My car got ticketed once time for bringing down the neighborhood’s property values.
* Then I got another ticket for a car impersonating a garbage dumpster.
