AIRPLANE LEAVES EVERYBODY’S LUGGAGE BEHIND

Passengers onboard a packed RyanAir flight last Friday from Bristol, England to the Canary Islands got a shock when they landed on Gran Canaria and were told by the pilot that all their luggage had been left behind. It was never loaded onto the plane, and the first passengers knew about it was when the plane landed. The captain blamed “time constraints” back at Bristol Airport, saying he and airline officials made the difficult decision to not bring any luggage. RyanAir has since apologized, saying it was caused by an “error” made by a third-party baggage handling provider.
* Must have been some party.
* Ah, the old “better to seek forgiveness than to ask permission” excuse.
* What were the “time constraints”? If they paused to load the luggage, the crew would arrive in the Canary Islands too late for happy hour?
* It would have been fine if Gran Canaria was a nudist resort.
* On the bright side, no “error” was made by the third-party provider who pumps fuel into the plane.
