PATROL CAR STOLEN WHILE COPS WERE ON FOOT CHASE
Police in Saskatoon, Canada, were patrolling downtown Sunday morning when they spotted a drunk man, who was carrying open liquor. This is illegal and so, after a short foot chase, they arrested him. Returning to their patrol car, they discovered it had been stolen while they were gone. It was found about 15 minutes later in a back alley a couple of blocks away.
* Worst of all, the thief changed all the station presets on the radio.
* “Dude, where’s my cop car?”
* Maybe somebody thought it was like a Lyft e-scooter service – you take the vehicle, drop it anywhere, and the company will find it and charge you later.
* Sometimes in real life you want to do stuff you could only do in Grand Theft Auto.
* And if they find who took the cop car, they will definitely be charged.
