MACHETE ATTACKER DRIVES VICTIM TO HOSPITAL

A Kissimmee, Florida, man attacked another man with a machete, and, after injuring him, decided to take him to the hospital himself. Angel Ramos-Arce, 35, allegedly went into a Circle K store and started yelling at the clerk, so she called her brother for help. The brother, and the employee’s boyfriend, showed up and confronted Ramos-Arce. There were words, Mr. Ramos-Arce punched the boyfriend, then ran to his truck to grab a machete. The two men ran away, but Mr. Ramos-Arce followed them, and once he caught up, slashed the brother’s arm. The slashing was accidental, Ramos-Arce told authorities, and he was so remorseful that he told the victim to get into his truck so they could go to the hospital because he “felt bad.” He drove him to the hospital. Police later arrested the attacker.
