TWO RESCUED FROM DEADMAN’S POINT

Two people had to be rescued after accidentally dropping their phones down Deadman’s Point in San Francisco Saturday afternoon. The tourists were caught on the cliffside between Deadman’s Point and Mile Rock Beach. They tried to go down the cliff to retrieve the phones they dropped but became stuck. Crews responded to the scene to pull the pair up to safety. Neither person was injured in the ordeal, but were cited by Park Police following the rescue.
* That must have been the special San Francisco Park Police Butterfingers Citation.
* They were given fines and a reading test, to see if they could read the sign “Deadman’s Point.”
* They must have gotten the phones. How else did they call to be rescued?
* Looks like Deadman tried to make another couple of points.
* If only wearing your phone on a lanyard around your neck didn’t look so dumb. A real shame.
* Still, they did good. Back in the day, these would’ve been selfie deaths.
