COPS CALLED ON DISHEVELED DAD

In Huntington Beach, California, Chapman Hamborg was walking around his neighborhood with his new infant daughter Florence, as he had done multiple times before, to give his wife a little break. Next thing he knew, some cops pulled up and started asking him questions – where did he live? Where did he get the baby? They told him that a neighbor had called them about a homeless man she believed had stolen a baby. He was wearing a baggy brown jacket, stained jeans and tattered slippers. He told the cops he was a father of four, an art teacher, very tired, and showed the cops his house. He later joked, “Apparently I need to work on my appearance — I guess being an artist or a tired dad isn’t a valid excuse.”
