MEN CALLING MEN TO WISH EACH OTHER A GOODNIGHT

According to USA Today, which is never wrong, there is a new TikTok trend that is encouraging men to call up their male friends before bed to tell them goodnight. In the videos, the recipient of the call is usually surprised or confused by the call in a “what the heck are you doing” kind of way. The majority of these videos are said to be filmed by a wife, fiancé or girlfriend, and they are more of a spoof than a real social trend. The men in the videos are pleasantly surprised by how it good it feels to check in with a friend or have a friend concerned about you.
* When Harry Met Ollie.
* “You hang up first.” “No, YOU hang up fir— hello?”
* At least it’s not men calling friends to sing a lullaby.
* I’m shocked! They’re still putting out USA Today?
* We need to pass a law that says just because somebody does something to try to get clicks on TikTok, that does not constitute a “trend” worth writing about.
