WORLD’S OLDEST CAT: 30

What is possibly the world’s oldest cat has just celebrated her 30th birthday. Leslie Greenhough, 70, believes his tortoiseshell kitty, Millie, who was born in 1995, is currently the oldest living feline. Mr. Greenhough said the cat’s long life is due to “lots of treats” and “cuddles on the sofa.” Leslie’s late wife, Paula, who would be 55, first got Millie in 1995 – when the kitten was three months old. Now, three decades later, Greenhough decided to a get a cake made with Millie’s face on it to celebrate. She licked all the cream off.
* 30 years – and she still has eight more lives to go.
* Mr. Greenhough estimates he’s cleaned up 3400 hairballs.
* And bought 14 tractor-trailer loads of cat litter.
* If she’s anything like my cat, my cat, she’s 30 years old and hasn’t eaten a damned thing in all those years.
