AIR PASSENGERS FORCED TO WATCH RACY MOVIE
Passengers on a recent Qantas flight from Australia to Japan were subjected to an inappropriate movie that, because of a technical issue, played on every seat screen. The movie was the 2023 film “Daddio,” a racy drama starring Dakota Johnson as a young woman in a taxi being driven by Sean Penn. The film is rated R for its explicit sexual material and graphic nudity, including photos of exposed genitals and sexually-charged text messages. The system that would allow for individual programming choice was broken, only one movie could be played at a time, and passengers voted for “Daddio.” But when it became clear the movie was not appropriate for all ages, the film was changed to a children’s movie instead.
* Well, kind of – it was “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.”
* The passengers voted for “Daddio”? Maybe they need to have a smutty seating section in the rear of the cabin.
* It could have been worse. It could have been “Megalopolis.”
* Actually it was worse. The only alternate entertainment on the plane was the SkyMall catalogue.
