KING CHARLES MONEY NOW OUT IN BRITAIN

Brits lined up on Wednesday outside the Bank of England’s London headquarters and post offices around the country to be the first to get their hands on the new bank notes bearing the image of King Charles III. Bills in denominations of 5, 10, 20, and 50 pounds were released. Older bills with Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait will remain in circulation. The new notes will only be printed to replace worn ones that must be removed from circulation.
* Are they calling them Chuck bucks? Because they should.
* Unlike other British monarchs, King Charles is not wearing a crown in the picture. It’s tight on his head and makes him frown.
* Plus, it’s an image of him when he was younger. Y’know – like we use on dating profiles.
* Given Charles’ health these days, I hope they didn’t print more than a few hundred.
