300,000 CONDOMS ON ORDER FOR THE PARIS OLYMPICS

Organizers of the Paris Olympic Games plan to make 300,000 condoms available to residents of the Olympic Village. Laurent Michaud, director of the Olympic and Paralympic Village, said the goal is for the more than 14,000 athletes, staff and members of the press in the Village during the Games to “feel very enthusiastic and comfortable” he said. The history of distributing condoms goes back a ways:
– At the Seoul Olympics in 1988, about 8,500 condoms were handed out.
– At the Sydney Olympics in 2000, organizers had to order 20,000 more condoms after they realized the initial 70,000 they had ordered wouldn’t be enough
– The Rio Olympics in 2016 topped the cake, with 450,000 male and female condoms distributed.
The Olympic and Paralympic Games will take place between July 26 and Sept. 8.
* No matter who you are, they’ve got you covered.
* Not all the new records set will be on the field.
* 300,000 condoms. Nice. Or as they say in France, ‘Neece.’
* Make sure you get the right size. You don’t want them to be Toulouse, Lautrec.
* Any unused condoms will be given to the balloon sellers under the Eiffel Tower.
* 300,000 condoms. That’s a busy weekend for Leonardo DiCaprio.
