WHAT IS AMERICA ORDERING FROM INSTACART?

Instacart food delivery service examined its sales data for some insight on which types of goods shoppers in each U.S. state are ordering in uniquely high volumes. Here are a few of them:
– Arizona leads the nation in Instacart orders of ice cubes, light lager, flavored vodka, whiskey, spiced rum, flavored rum, and nonalcoholic wine. (* Your drunken retired parents are obviously boosting the numbers.)
– Idaho leads in delivery of hard seltzer, canned cocktails, flavored malt beverages, hard lemonade, and hard tea.
– Illinois leads for delivery of sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, brandy and cognac, stout, bourbon, vermouth.
– Washington state leads in vodka, whiskey, gin.
– Colorado leads in dry mouth relief products and frozen burritos. (* Thanks, pot!)
– Nevada leads in deliveries of styling gels and contraceptives. (* Thanks, Elvis imitators!)
– New Jersey loves mozzarella, ricotta, and pecorino romano cheeses. (* Thanks, guidos!)
– Kansas leads in salsa. Massachusetts leads in yogurt. Missouri leads in apples.
– Alaska leads in dog food; Maine leads in cat food.
