SUPER BOWL PROP BETS
Each year, along with the Super Bowl, come the Super Bowl prop bets, where bookmakers offer action on events beyond who wins or loses. Some of these get pretty weird. Here are some of the more unusual prop bets for this year’s game:
– Whether Reba McEntire’s performance of the National Anthem will be longer or shorter than 83 seconds.
– Will there be a flea flicker play?
– Will there be an Octopus? An octopus is when a player scores a touchdown and two-point conversion on the same drive – 8 points.
– What will be the combined total of the jersey numbers of every player who scores a touchdown?
– If halftime entertainer Usher will open the show with his song “My Way” or “Yeah!”
– What brand of shoe Usher will be wearing.
– If Usher will be wearing sunglasses and/or a hat to begin his show.
– How many times will Taylor Swift be shown during the broadcast?
– The “Today Was a Fairytale” bet (named after a Taylor Swift song) on whether Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will score a game-winning touchdown for his team.
– Will the Super Bowl MVP mention Taylor Swift?
– How many total dogs will make an appearance in commercials during the game?
– Scorigami: guessing a final score that has never occurred in the history of the NFL.
* Wow, it’s only Tuesday and I’m already exhausted.
* Still … Super Bowl 58 and this is only how long the list is?
* No prop bets for the Puppy Bowl? Sad.
* I want to know how many times Travis Kelce will score with Taylor Swift after the game. And what’s the over/under in the bedroom?
