SNAKE BITES MAN, MAN BITES SNAKE, VILLAGERS EAT SNAKE
A Filipino man, Boljulio Aleria, 48, was riding his motorcycle early last Wednesday morning through Antequera in the Philippines, when he found a 10-foot boa blocking his path. He stopped and waited for the snake to pass, but instead it slithered toward him and sank its teeth into his arm as it wrapped around his waist. Mr. Aleria said that he thought his only chance was to bite its neck so it would loosen a little bit. He says, “I bit it until its skin peeled off. And when the skin peeled off, I bit on its flesh. It was only then that it loosened.” He was able to make it to the nearest house to call for medics. The snake was eaten by villagers, who grilled the snake over a fire.
* But the skin, Boljulio, tell us more about the skin and the flesh.
* This is pretty much how Christmas dinner with my family went.
* What would your reaction would be if a guy showed up at your front door wrapped up in a snake and he asked to use your phone? “Oh, sure, but can you take your shoes off before you come in?”
