KILLER WHALES ATTACK, SINK POLISH YACHT

A pod of killer whales rammed and sunk a Polish yacht off the coast of Morocco. The incident occurred on Oct. 31 after a group of orcas attacked the yacht, named the Grazie Mamma II, while it passed through the Strait of Gibraltar. The shamus reportedly hit the steering rudder for 45 minutes, causing major damage and leakage. (* Yeah, once the water starts getting through those screen doors, nothing can stop it.) The crew wasn’t harmed in the attack. The incident marks the latest in an ongoing trend of killer whales attacking ships off the coast of Morocco and Spain. Some scientists believe that the orcas’ behavior is playful, and they don’t know they are being destructive. They also noticed that the boat ramming behavior is spreading among the whales.
* They’re being playful. Y’know – like Godzilla.
* I bet they’re doing it on porpoise.
* Maybe they’ve just discovered the concept of “bathtub toys.”
* Still think it was a good idea to free Willy?
