WIFE FOUND GUILTY OF NAGGING

A British housewife has been convicted of harassment after nagging her husband to come home and hounding his friends while they were watching a soccer game. Joanne Healey, 59, repeatedly called her husband Steve as he was watching a Chelsea vs. Manchester United game with his friends last October. She called numerous times, and eventually Mr. Healey refused to take the calls. At that point she began to call his friends, the Ashworths, dozens of times on their landline instead, calling them names and forcing them to leave their phone off the hook. Although Mr. Healy eventually returned home, his wife was later questioned by police over the nuisance calls to the Ashworths’ home. It emerged she had been drinking heavily at the time of the incident. Last week, in magistrates court, Mrs. Healey pleaded guilty to harassment and was sentenced to 12 months of community service and fined £80.
* And when soccer games are on, she has to go down in the basement.
* She got off easy. Her husband still has to live with her.
* Felony nagging, murmur in the first degree.
* Speaking of stereotypes, she’s now suing him for always leaving the toilet seat up.
