SPANIARD BREAKS 100-METER RECORD WEARING HEELS

A Spanish man ran a 100-meter sprint while wearing high heels. Christian Roberto López Rodríguez was wearing 2.76-inch stilettos and ran the 100 meters in 12.82 seconds, earning a Guinness World Record. His time was actually only 3.24 seconds slower than Jamaican runner and eight-time Olympic gold-medal winner Usain Bolt’s 100-meter sprint world record.
* Oh, so THAT’S how it is in his family.
* He started wearing heels when his wife found a pair of them under the bed that weren’t hers.
* I wasn’t aware sprinting was a formal dress event.
* I’m confused. In the movies, people take OFF their heels when they have to run.
* He would have run it faster, but there was some wind resistance from the feather boa around his neck.
