FLOWERS : WOMEN = _______ : MEN

Reddit asked, “What’s the gifting equivalent of flowers for a dude?” In other words, a romantic gift from the opposite sex that can also be given as a condolence or congratulations. The responses all seemed to point to one place:
– “Fresh baked cookies or brownies.”
– “Pie.”
– “Get me something I can eat or drink instead. Beef jerky. Nice coffee. Nice booze. Dessert.”
– “Beer.”
– “Bourbon.”
– “A pack of ribeyes.”
– “A Lego set.”
– “Chicken wings – grilled or fried.”
– “Chicken wing + 6 pack of beer.”
– “I asked my friend this once and he said a Clif bar.”
– “Women have this thing where they get each other little care packages with nice soaps and snacks etc. Most guys would love that too but —(* Wait for it!) — with more snacks.”
* How did a dozen donuts not make this list?
* A Lego set??? Maybe if they were Lego-shaped Doritos.
* Guys would like flowers. If they were goats and could eat ’em.
* So, “Congratulations on your new job. Here’s a pack of ribeyes.” I’m sorry, but that sounds absolutely perfect, and you don’t have to stick them in water.
* Okay, now I’m not going to be able to focus on the rest of the show unless someone gets me a bucket of wings.
