SYDNEY SKINNY DIP FAILS TO BREAK RECORD
On Sunday morning more than a thousand swimmers stripped down and plunged into Australia’s Sydney Harbour for the 10th annual Sydney Skinny, held for the first time since 2019. The event was hoping to break a record for the all-time largest skinny dipping event, set in 2018 when 2505 naked women participated in the Irish Strip and Dip. Sadly, the Sydney Skinny did not break that record, with only 1300 participants, many of whom should NOT have been naked, going by some of the photos. Participants did comment on the pleasant water temperature.
* In some spots, it was a wee bit warmer than others. A WEE BIT!!
* So it was a flop all around.
* They just couldn’t crack that record.
* The event did set a record for the number of people on a beach screaming, “Hey, where’s my wallet?”
