FUNERAL SURVEY
According to a new study of 2,000 Americans from Titan Casket:
– Most people – 81 percent – have given at least “some thought” to what their memorial service will be like.
– 59 percent want to actively participate in planning their own funeral service. 11 percent have already started.
– Almost twice as many would prefer a “massive” ceremony to an “intimate” one. Most say they want a lot of people to be there – somewhere between 50 to 100 attendees.
– One in three (31%) said they’d want their funeral to be as “cheap as possible.” Seven in 10 Americans would “rather be buried in a cardboard box” than have their family overspend on a funeral.
* Speaking of which – “Titan Casket”??? How many inches thick is the steel in these babies?
* “As cheap as possible”? That would be having your funeral on Zoom.
* I want to be composted, which is the newest thing, and then spread into a coffin with tulip bulbs.
* Speaking of planning my own funeral, are there any donuts left in the break room?
* PHONE TOPIC: Would you want a happy memorial service, or one that makes people just bawl their eyes out over your passing?
