THE MYSTERIOUS CAT SHAVER OF COVENTRY

There is somebody in Coventry, England, targeting local cats and shaving squares into their fur. The perpetrator, now called The Cat Shaver of Coventry, has been at it since 2021. In the latest incident, Bonnie Towe noticed a bald patch on her cat Tallulah. It was a perfectly cut square and “felt prickly like it had been shaved off.” There were no cuts or scrapes on the cat. The last time the shaver struck was October 2021. That cat owner posted about it on Facebook, which drew out a number of other locals who said similar things had happened to their cats. One resident said her two cats were targeted, with one of them left “completely shaved apart from his head and feet.”
