RUSSIAN AIRPLANE DOOR OPENS ON TAKEOFF
A Russian airplane was forced to make an emergency landing when the back hatch used for loading at the back of the plane flew open just after takeoff. Hats belonging to the 25 passengers flew off heads and some bags vanished out the back of the twin-engine turboprop plane in icy -40 degrees (the same in Fahrenheit AND Celsius, as it turns out – Google it!) after the rear door popped open soon after takeoff in Magan, Siberia, one of the world’s coldest regions. All passengers on board were safe as the pilot made a rapid emergency landing 15 minutes after the incident. Footage taken by a passenger shows the back door wide open, a curtain flapping in the breeze. The Antonov AN-26 plane was introduced in the USSR in 1970 and stopped being manufactured in 1986.
* They must have stopped making door latch replacement parts in 1993.
* Putin must have decided to start bombing Ukraine with actual Russians.
* Everybody was fine, except they had to be chiseled out of their seats.
* Fortunately, like everything else in Russia, there was a long line to fall out of the back of the plane.
