EMBARRASSING MOMENTS WHEN YOU MEET THE PARENTS

A woman from Vancouver, Canada posted a TikTok sharing the time she broke her boyfriend’s toilet while meeting his parents for the first time. Kennedy Calwell, 26, said she was staying with her boyfriend Nick’s family for the holidays at their home in Toronto. The toilet she used got clogged. She decided to fix the problem herself. She says, “At first I thought I would easily be able to fix it by opening up the top portion and fiddling with the handle, but nothing was working.” (* Rookie mistake.) But then, disaster struck after she dropped the lid while attempting to put it back on the toilet, and ended up “shattering it completely.” As she pondered what to do, she finally told her boyfriend who, she claims, “laughed really hard at me.” He saved the day by calling his parents and taking the fall, telling them he’d “accidentally broken the toilet.”
