A woman in the UK is being criticized for cutting her daughter’s pajamas in the middle of the night and blaming it on the Elf on the Shelf. McKenzie Taylor, from the UK, is doing the Elf on the Shelf thing with her child, which is a game where parents hide the elf figurine in various positions around the house every night, as if the elf moves around on its own. She has been documenting what she is making the elf do in various videos – but one video that has angered many online users shows her cutting holes in her daughter’s pajamas as her daughter sleeps. She then positions the elf on the bed, hold a pair of scissors. Many people slammed the mother for her actions, one saying, “Someone rescue this child.”
