SHOCKING DOG SURVEY: DOGS LIKE TREATS

According to a recent poll of 2,000 dog owners, from Clif Pet dog treats:
– 52% of dogs are likely to run over when they hear words like “treat” or “cookie,” while only 37% consistently respond to the sound of their own name. (* What happens if you name your dog Treat or Cookie?)
– The average dog knows an average of five spoken commands.
* That’s pretty good. My wife claims I only know three.
* Then there are cats, who refuse to acknowledge there’s any such thing as “commands.”
* Dogs like treats. I mean, they’ll eat some pretty disgusting stuff… but yeah, they do like treats.
* I hope Clif Pets didn’t spend too much money on this survey. I could have told them this information, and I don’t even own a dog.
