FIREFIGHTERS CALLED OVER OVERHEATED VIBRATOR

Firefighters in Turnhout, Belgium were called out Saturday to an apartment by a woman over the smell of something burning. At first, it was not immediately clear where the smell was coming from, so the fire department used a thermal imaging camera to work out what the source of the burning smell was. They were able to determine that the source of the heat and smell was coming from a cupboard in the apartment, and they found the culprit: an overheating vibrator resting in a charger. The woman then reportedly played dumb saying “Wow, what’s that?” The firefighters secured the vibrator and made it safe.

* It’s supposed to get you hot and bothered, not hot and scorched.
* And then they noticed the thing wasn’t even electric.
* I bet they gave her quite the ribbing.
* I’ve seen this exact scenario played out before, in a, um, movie, uh, I think. Though the ending was different.
