SURVEY: SEX TALK WITH THE KIDS

A recent survey of 2,000 parents of children aged five to 18, from Planned Parenthood, revealed that 20% of adults in the US say they are not planning to have a conversation about the birds and the bees with their kids.
– The survey found that 58% of respondents have already spoken to their children about sex, while 21% are planning on doing so in the future.
– The main reasons parents don’t have the talk: 1) they feel the kids are too young; 2) the other partner is going to do it; 3) the kids are getting sex education in school.
* If I want my kids to learn about sex, I just let them watch an episode of Bridgerton.
* Isn’t there an app for this?
* “Okay, kids – ready? All right, here we go. Let me think … where to begin. So … you know the eggplant emoji?”
* What I’ve always found embarrassing about talking to your kids about the birds and the bees is when they come back and correct you.
