FISH JUMPS INTO MAN’S THROAT
A fisherman in Thailand was spearfishing when, as he came up for air, a fish leaped out of the water and into his open mouth. The 5-inch fish wiggled its way down into the fisherman’s windpipe, cutting off his oxygen supply and causing him to clutch at his throat. Other fishermen rushed him to a hospital, where an X-ray revealed the spiky freshwater fish known as an Anabas lodged between his throat and nasal cavity. Medics managed to extract the critter during a one-hour operation, and the man recovered from the incident, which happened back on May 22.

* If only Thailand hadn’t dropped their mask mandate.
* This is exactly why I avoid sushi.
