AUDIO: MAX DICKS FOR SENATE
A little-known candidate from Victoria for the Australian Senate is making a name for himself. His name – no lie – is Max Dicks. The 31-year-old locksmith has taken six weeks of annual leave to focus on his Senate run, during which time he has been campaigning every day, 16 hours a day. He sometimes carries a large sign. One side shows a picture of his face with the words, “Vote Max Dicks: It’s in your hands.” The flip side says, “Google Max Dicks. You won’t be disappointed.” Max says his name is “the most marketable thing I have.” He’s running on a platform of easier voting, education, caring for those less able, and improving the environment, because he’d like to have kids one day.
* I guess he’s got a lot of gag names all ready to go for them. Harry, Holden, Manny, or Ophelia.

* You’ve got to vote for this guy just so you can say, “We’ve got a wiener!”
* If elected, he promises to keep a small staff.
* Like there aren’t already enough Dicks in politics.
