AUSTRALIAN SWIMMER BUMPED BY GREAT WHITE
A swimmer says he was “rammed” by a huge great white shark Sunday in Perth, Australia. The man said he had jumped off a reef in shallow water, about 150 yards off of Florida Beach, when a 12-foot shark rammed him in the side. The shark then swam away, leaving the man to make a mad dash back to shore.
* Sharks are bad enough, and then you get ones with attitude.
* In other news, a world record for the 150-yard freestyle was set Sunday in Perth, Australia, when a man swam it in 6-and-a-half seconds.
* As the shark was swimming away, the man claimed to hear it say, “Tag, you’re it.”
* Nearsighted sharks. Now there’s a problem you don’t hear much about.
* Shark Week came early this year.
