CROOKS STEAL FILM EQUIPMENT FROM HEIST MOVIE
A heist movie about to shoot in Winnipeg, Canada this week was delayed when someone stole all the film equipment. A film crew is in Winnipeg to shoot “Vandits,” a film about a teenagers trying to “pull off a ridiculous heist,” according to the movie’s description. But the truck and trailer with all of their equipment disappeared from where it had been parked Monday morning, before cameras could start rolling. Said director Stu Stone, “The irony is not lost on us.”
* The irony WAS lost on the insurance company that has to replace the stuff.
* Now they can fire the cast and just make a documentary.
* The movie sounds like a crime against cinema anyway.
* Not the worst thing that’s happened on a movie set this year.
